Tutors on Track pairs students in grades 3–8 with Brooklyn Tech high schoolers for one-on-one help. No fees, no catch — just a kid who remembers how hard the class was.
Online only, over Google Meet — never in person. A parent is part of every sign-up.
A 60-second hello from the team. (Video coming soon.)
Hi, I'm Kaitlyn, a senior at Brooklyn Tech. When I was studying for the SHSAT, a lot of my friends' families paid for tutors, and I know plenty of kids whose families can't. We started Tutors on Track because the stuff that helped us — someone patient, a little older, who explains things the way a classmate would — shouldn't cost anything.
We're not a company. We're a group of friends who like teaching and have the time. If that sounds like something your kid could use, sign up and we'll get back to you within a few days.
Three stops. Most families are matched within a week.
A parent fills out the short form below: grade, subject, and when you're free.
We pair your student with a tutor who's strong in that subject and emails you both to set a time.
Sessions are 30 minutes on Google Meet — online only — usually once or twice a week, for as long as it's helping.
We teach what we're good at — mostly the classes and tests we took ourselves in the last couple of years. Don't see your subject? Ask anyway.
All of us are current Brooklyn Tech students. First names only, on purpose.

Yes. No fees, no trial period, no upsell. The tutors volunteer their time.
Current Brooklyn Tech students who did well in the subject they teach.
Online only. Every session is on Google Meet from the tutor's and student's own homes — we never meet in person. A parent is welcome to sit in on any session.
A parent signs up every student and is copied on scheduling emails. Sessions happen on Google Meet only — no private messaging apps, no texting. Tutors go by first name only; we never share a tutor's last name, address, or personal contact details, and we never ask for a student's. Tutors and students never meet in person through this program.
Ask in the form. If one of us can help, we will; if not, we'll tell you quickly.
If you're in high school and strong in a subject, choose "applying to tutor" on the form.
